Mourinho Will Be A Disaster In Chelsea - Barca VP

Jose Mourinho: Set to bring three eventful years in Spain to a close

Barcelona vice-president Carles Vilarrubi has hit out at Jose Mourinho and claims he will be a 'disaster' if, as expected, he returns to Chelsea after announcing his departure from Real Madrid.

Mourinho is ready to bid farewell to Spanish football after three eventful years at Santiago Bernabeu.
The enigmatic Portuguese coach has courted controversy throughout his time in Madrid, with regular clashes with arch-rivals Barca seeing him hit the headlines for events on and off the field.

Vilarrubi says no-one in Spain will miss Mourinho and his antics when he has gone and feels the Premier League would be ill-advised to welcome him back with open arms - six years after he brought a successful three-year stint at Stamford Bridge to a close.

The Barca chief told The Daily Telegraph: "It is not good for English football. Chelsea maybe think they had a good time from him in the past, but you will see the real Mourinho now.
"If he behaves like he did in Spain it will only be an unhappy relationship. A disaster. And at his age he is not going to change.

"My position is not because he was the coach of a rival, but because of who he is and what he did. His three years in Spain he only creates disagreements, arguments. There is nothing positive he brings.

"You can learn good things about life from watching people in football, or the circus, or the opera. There was nothing he brought that was good. There was no positive balance. I cannot see anything good about him. Not one thing. In sporting terms, maybe I am not the person to ask. But in cultural terms, he was a disaster.

"Apart from his aggression to the coach of Barca, the ambience he creates everywhere he goes, the relations with the players, with the press, are absolutely terrible. I am happy that he is leaving. And so is everyone in Spanish football.

"I am just glad he has gone. I am not interested in him. Go leave, goodbye."

OYO 2015: Ladoja, Alao-Akala set up 10-member committee

Ahead of the 2015 general election in Oyo State, two former governors of the state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja and Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala have set up a joint committee of 10.

The constitution of the committee, the Nigerian Tribune gathered, formed part of the discussion held behind closed-doors by the ex-governors at a meeting in Ladoja’s Bodija residence, last Saturday.

Nigerian Tribune can authoritatively report that members of the committee include Accord Party chairman in the state, Alhaji Bashir Lawal; a former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Dele Adigun;  National Secretary of Accord Party, Alhaji Nureni Adisa and a former Speaker, Honourable Adeolu Adeleke.

Some of the nominees by Alao-Akala on the committee are Mrs Kemi Jayeola, former deputy chief of staff, Alhaji Rasaq Gbadegesin and others.
It was gathered that part of the terms of reference of the 10-member committee included harmonising positions of the two former governors on some issues concerning the next general election.

The committee, it was learnt, would be given freedom to come up with recommendations that would strengthen the synergy between Ladoja and Alao-Akala.
It was further gathered that loyalists of the duo had been embracing one another as members of the same political fraternity, from Ogbomosho to Oke-Ogun, Ibadan and other geo-political zones of the state.

The two former governors are billed to publicly make a declaration on their working agreement in early June and thereafter begin preparations for the coming election.

2015: Lamido Can Do It - Obasanjo

2015: Obasanjo calls for leadership change

“You know you can help somebody to get the job, but you cannot help him to do it. If somebody cannot do the job, we have Sule Lamido who we are confident can do the job,”

Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo he told a crowd of would-be investors, dignitaries and ordinary folks in Dutse, capital of Jigawa State yesterday.

It was at the opening of the First Jigawa State Economic and Investment Summit at the Sir Amadu Bello Hall at the state secretariat.

Obasanjo did not elaborate on his statement and it was not immediately clear whether he was talking about the 2015 election. Jigawa State Governor Lamido is being rumoured to be interested in the presidential race with Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi as his running mate. He has said he is yet to think about 2015.

Although he did not mention the President’s name in Dutse yesterday, Obasanjo has been critical of the Dr. Goodluck Jonathan administration.
He has spoken against its handling of the Boko Haram insurgency and the growing unemployment, saying it is a bomb waiting to explode.

Obasanjo said the government should have approached the Boko Haram insurgency the way he (Obasanjo) handled the killing of security men in Odi (Bayelsa State) and Zaki Biam (Benue State) communities when he was the president.
But President Jonathan fired back, saying the soldiers Obasanjo sent to Odi failed to get those who killed the security men.

Dr. Jonathan said as deputy governor of Bayelsa State at the time, he discovered, when he visited Odi after the military raid, that only women and children were killed by the soldiers.
Obasanjo has also in recent time, distanced himself from activities of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , which is immersed in crises. He resigned his membership of the Board of Trustees (BoT).
The former president however revealed that, he was the one who imposed Lamido on the people of Jigawa. He is happy that he was not disappointed, he said.

Obasanjo also called on governors to maintain cordial relationship with the Federal Government so as to ensure meaningful development.
He said there was need for governors to show full cooperation with the government at the centre for the common interest of the nation and its citizens.

The former President also described Jigawa state as a fertile ground for investment. He urged both local and international investors to locate their investment potentials in the state.
According to him, Jigawa is not only peaceful, it has acquired the needed infrastructure and resources capable of boosting business and enterprises.
Obasanjo described Jigawa state as the most investor-friendly in the country, citing stable security, peace and huge presence of needed infrastructure as his reasons.

Obasanjo said the problem of the country’s leadership is, “that of unmet expectations stressing that governments must invest in the people’s education to overcome poverty, redundancy and criminalities.
He explained that good governance is key for any practical and factual economic development plan, “the government is not expected to invest directly, but to provide enabling environment for private investors to exploit.

“The way Sule Lamido has revitalised the Jigawa State – education sector, adequate provision of good roads network, infrastructure, social security, free trade – has now made the state to be a haven for investors, and to the best of my knowledge, today there is nowhere in Nigeria where investors can have confidence in doing business that is greater than Jigawa State.

“I am optimistic that, this summit would help in making out long-term economic plan that would lead to the successful economic development that would be translated into the increase of employment, wealth creation, poverty reduction and improve the well-being of the people of the state and Nigeria”
Lamido recalled his inaugural speech six years ago. He said: “As you all might be aware, our state manifests the worst indices of underdevelopment.

“It was the electioneering campaign tour that exposed me to the problems of our people in that most pathetic degree. The tour brought me face to face with the uniquely unmitigated case of underdevelopment called Jigawa state”, he said.

The governor observed that as he settled down in office, he discovered that the elite in the state were living in a world of their own that ensured total disconnect with the ordinary citizens
He said his resolve to run the government best practices in governance has helped to liberate the state from the pains and agony of underdevelopment.

He said: “Today, we want to announce to the whole world with all the noise we can muster that we are ready and our doors are now open to take Jigawa to the next level”.
Chairman of the summit Lord Paul Boateng, said he has the conviction that the state can become a ‘Super Eagle’ in the economic world.

“Nigeria is Africa’s biggest direction for foreign investment”, he said, warning that “we must also need to recognise that Africa is the father of its own progress”.
In her vote of thanks, the Commissioner for Commerce, Hajiya Hauwa Sulaiman Baffa, thanked Diamond Bank among others for supporting the summit.

Bus preacher beaten to coma in Lagos after condoms fell out from his bible

A bus preacher was almost lynched on Saturday morning at Toyota Bus stop, in front of the popular Ladipo Spare parts market, when some condoms allegedly fell out of his bible as he preached the ‘Word of God’.

It was gathered that the self acclaimed Man of God was dragged out of the commercial bus and beaten into a pulp before he was rescued by some policemen.

According to information made available to this reporter the Pastor had embarked on his journey from Apapa and proceeded to preach to the people on the bus, using very strong words like “If you wear trouser you’ll go to hell! The Devil invented Make up! Weave-on is from Marine Kingdom! If you have pre-marital sex you will burn in hell and your skin will peel!”

It was learnt that the people in the bus were so moved and some started falling under the anointing.

According to an eye witness, Mr. John Mbakogu, who was on his way to his shop at Ladipo, “People were just falling as he was laying hands. One man almost fell out of the bus under the influence of the Spirit. It was amazing until he raised his hands to cast the demons out of one girl, and 2 Durex condoms fell out”

“The angry men in the bus who had been having pangs of guilt due to the pastor’s preaching about sex suddenly got really angry and pounced on him, who all of a sudden started shouting, I also preach safe sex! Safe sex is good!”
However, Policemen had to be called to the scene to save the pastors life. So far 2 arrests have been made, and the Condoms have been kept as evidence.

Another Deadly Islamic Sect MOJAO Emerges; Kills 26 Soldiers

Members of Movement for Oneness and Jihad MOJAO Another Deadly Islamic Sect MOJAO Emerges; Kills 26 Soldiers As Nigeria grapples with the terror activities of the fundamentalist Boko Haram sect, another terror group, Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa, MOJAO, has emerged.

The Jihadist group claimed responsibility for a twin suicide bombing attack at the border of Nigeria and Niger. No fewer than 26, mostly Nigerien soldiers, were killed and about 30 injured, in the multiple attacks.
MOJAO spokesman, Abu Walid Sahraoui, said those they killed are “the enemies of Islam.”

There are serious fears in security circles that MOJAO may infiltrate the country due to the porous nature of Nigeria’s borders. According to Punch, the Minister of Interior, Mr. Abba Moro, had last week said there were 1,497 illegal routes into the country.

MOJAO, a splinter group of the international terror group, al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, is after military operatives and facilities of countries that are complementing France’s efforts in quelling terrorists’ insurgency in Mali.

Nigeria, Chad, Niger, and Bukina Faso are involved in military operations in Mali.
According to a highly place security official: “We now have to prevent them from infiltrating Nigeria; we have enough Boko Haram challenges. Don’t forget that members of Boko Haram, who were dislodged from Sambisa Games Reserve and other camps in Borno State fled to neigbouring states and the Niger Republic. So many of them from Abadan, Malam Fatori and other villages, are now refugees in Difa, Niger Republic. They can decide to pitch tents with MOJAO.”

Six Signs That You’re In A Wrong Relationship

wrong relationship

Sometimes we hold on to relationships even thought we know that they are bad for us. here are a few signs that you need to say goodbye to that person:
  1. You’re not Happy

This is a great place to start. Someone who is dating the right person consistently enjoys the relationship and feels a general sense of happiness. We’re not saying that they wouldn’t argue or be upset with their partner occasionally; even the healthiest couples do that. And we’re not saying that there wouldn’t be times when a person in a good relationship would get down or struggle emotionally at some point. But generally speaking, a person who is in the right relationship should be happy. So if you find yourself unhappy most of the time – and especially when you’re with your partner – then that’s a fairly clear sign that this may not be the best person for you.

2. You keep your partner’s actions and words a secret

If you can’t tell your family or friends about the many of the things your boyfriend or girlfriend says and does, then you may not be in a healthy loving relationship. If you constantly need to lie to protect him/her then it’s time to get out of that bad relationship.

3. Your partner wants you to change

If your partner doesn’t love you as you are, then it’s time to run!  Of course, this doesn’t apply where they genuinely want you to change certain bad habits for your own good. This is one of the most important signs of bad relationships: a person who doesn’t love or accept you as you are.  Eventually, such a person will begin to compare you with others and will eventually leave you for someone else.

4. Your partner doesn’t trust you

Constant phone calls, demands on your time, and jealous behavior are NOT signs of love! If your partner doesn’t trust you or accuses you of lying, then you need to re-evaluate your love. This is a sign of deep insecurity, which could lead to more serious relationship problems.

5. You disrespect each other

If you don’t respect your partner and there’s no respect coming from their end either, then it’s time to call it quits. Mutual respect is an essential ingredient of successful relationships and if you don’t have that, then it’s just not worth it.

6. Your loved ones are not in support

If the people you trust and are closest to feel that you’re in a very good and healthy relationship, then it’s a good sign that you two may belong together. On the other hand, if the people who love you the most are begging you to get away from someone, then that person’s probably not the one for you
This is definitely not a conclusive list so what do you think people? What are some other signs that you’re with the wrong person? Let us know in the comments box.

Muslim Lesbian Couple Married In the UK

gayA pair of Pakistani women have made history as the first Muslim lesbian couple to get married in the UK.
Rehana Kausar, 34, and Sobia Kamar, 29, made history when they tied the knot in a register office civil ceremony, then immediately applied for political asylum after they were wed, claiming their lives would be in danger if they returned to their native country.

Watched by their solicitors and two friends, the pair wore traditional white bridal dresses when they were married in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The pair, from the Lahore and Mirpur regions of Pakistan, said they had received death threats from opponents in Pakistan – where homoséxual acts are illegal and considered against Islam.
And since news of their wedding earlier this month spread, the pair claimed they had even received death threats from the UK.

Before the service, even the registrar advised the couple to give serious thought to their decision to marry because of some Muslims’ views on homoséxuality.
Ms Kausar, a master’s degree holder in economics from Punjab University (pictured), both came to the UK to study business and health care management
Kausar said: ‘This country allows us rights and it’s a very personal decision that we have taken.
‘It’s no one’s business as to what we do with our personal lives.

‘The problem with Pakistan is that everyone believes he is in charge of other people’s lives and can best decide about the morals of others but that’s not the right approach and we are in this state because of our clergy who have hijacked our society which was once a tolerant society and respected individuals’ freedoms.’
The pair married at the register office located at Leeds Town Hall. They have lived in South Yorkshire as a couple for a year
Ms Kamar, speaking to the Birmingham Mail, described her partner as her ‘soul mate’ and said the two women were deeply in love.
